Luvio is designed for structured rafting and swimming learning. This policy explains the information connected with your use of lessons, practice videos, discussions, account features, and purchases.
Information connected with Luvio
Depending on the features you choose, Luvio may handle your display name, sport preference, profile photo, voice note, learning progress, readiness-check results, practice plans, saved videos, captions, forum posts, replies, saved items, and blocked-user choices.
How information supports the experience
- Present your profile, learning route, completed lessons, safety checks, and practice plan.
- Let you create, view, manage, and replay practice videos and their notes.
- Enable forum questions, replies, reporting, blocking, and saved discussion actions.
- Process Apple Sign In and in-app point purchases when you select those options.
- Maintain account controls, including sign-out and account-deletion requests.
Photos, camera, microphone, and video access
Luvio requests access to photos when you choose a profile image, attach an image to a question, or select a practice video. Camera access is used when you choose to take a profile photo. Microphone access is used when you choose to record a voice note. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Tracking permission
Where required by iOS, Luvio asks for your permission before using identifiers for app-interaction measurement across apps or websites owned by other companies. This permission helps us understand which parts of the learning experience are useful and improve the relevance and performance of Luvio. You can choose not to allow tracking; your choice can be changed at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Apple services and purchases
Apple Sign In is offered as an optional account method. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may handle purchase and account information under its own terms and privacy practices. Luvio does not request your payment-card number.
Service providers and disclosures
We may work with service providers that support the operation of Luvio, including Apple services for sign-in, payment, device permissions, and app distribution. These providers may receive information only as needed to provide their services and are expected to protect it consistently with this policy. We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to a valid legal request.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for the period reasonably needed to provide Luvio, maintain the integrity of the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce our terms. When you delete your account through Settings & Privacy, the deletion flow applies to the account and associated profile, learning, community, and practice content, subject to any information we are required to retain by law.
Your choices and requests
You can manage selected permissions in iOS Settings, change profile information in the app, remove saved content through the available controls, block community accounts, sign out, and begin account deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal information associated with you. To make a request, contact us using the email below. We may ask for information necessary to verify the request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or handling is completely secure, and we encourage you to protect your device and account credentials.
International processing
Luvio and its service providers may process information in countries or regions that have privacy rules different from those where you live. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
Community choices
Forum posts and replies are intended for respectful learning discussion. You can report content or block an account from the available controls. Do not include information that you would not want other participants to see.
Account deletion
You can begin account deletion from Settings & Privacy. The confirmation flow explains the scope of the request before you complete it. You may also contact us if you need help with an account-related request.
Children
Luvio is not directed to children under the age required to independently consent under applicable law. A parent or guardian should supervise younger users who engage with water-sport learning content.
Updates
We may update this policy as Luvio evolves. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
Regional notices
Some regions provide additional privacy rights and impose specific conditions on how personal information is handled. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights available under applicable law. If a regional notice applies to you, you may contact us to receive the information relevant to your request.
